Featuring an introduction by the editor, Troy L Buchleiter, Director of New Concept Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Searching for Beyul is a comprehensive overview of Jane's artistic career and includes dozens of examples of her work from the 1960s to today.

2019

  • The Tao Hua Tan International Artist Retreat in Anhui Province, China has invited Jane to be the artist in residence in May 2019. The residency is located where the mountainous terrain meets the middle reaches of the Yangtze River in eastern China. There will be an exhibition at the conclusion of the residency.

2018

  • Art critic Michael Paglia selected Jane Abrams from among artists represented at William Havu Gallery (Denver CO) for an exhibition at the McNichols Civic Center in Denver. The show, New Regionalism: Contemporary Art in the Western States, runs from January 13 to April 8, 2018.

2016

  • The Summer 2016 issue of TREND Magazine has a feature article about Jane, ”Creative Non-collaboration” by Keiko Ohnuma, with pictures by by Douglas Merriam.
  • Jane's work will be featured in a solo show at the New Concept Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The show opens August 5th, 2016, and runs until August 29th.

2015

  • Public Selects Exhibition at Albuquerque Museum, 2015A selection of Jane's paintings and polychrome woods sculptures from the 1990s will be included in an exhibition of 12 artists at the Albuquerque Museum entitled Public Selects. The artists were selected by nearly 2000 visitors attending Albuquerque artists' studios, who were asked to vote for the top 12. The final works to be exhibited by each artist were curated by the museum staff.
  • January 31 to May 3, 2015, Jane's work will be featured in the Visualizing Albuquerque exhibit at the Albuquerque Museum in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

2014

  • From September 30 to November 13, 2014, Jane will be participating in Nature as Subject: Invitational Exhibition at the Lone Tree Arts Center in Lone Tree, Colorado.
  • Galleri Schaeffers Gate 5 in Oslo, Norway, will be presenting a group exhibition titled Art in the Endangered Everglades featuring work from select artists who have received an Everglades National Park Residency. The exhibition will run from August 27 to September 7, 2014.
  • From April 11 to May 11, 2014, Jane's work will be represented in a group exhibition of botanical images called Santa Fe in Bloom at the New Concept Gallery in Santa Fe, NM.
