  • Artist in Residence in the Everglades
South Florida is home to the only subtropical wilderness area in the country, and Artists in Residence in Everglades (AIRIE) is the only program bringing artists to the Everglades. Since 2001, AIRIE has brought over 100 artists, composers, writers and dancers to Everglades National Park for month-long residencies. AIRIE Fellows have the unique opportunity to get to know the ecology of the Everglades by being immersed in it, and then share their perspective through creative public programs. For more information and application information please visit airie.org.
  • Texas Tech Artist Printmaker Archives
Extensive collections of original prints and related research and archival materials of 20th and 21st century artist-printmakers. The collection strives to represent each artist in depth. Housed in the Art Division of the Museum of Texas Tech University the collection supports education, research, publication and exhibition of American prints and printmakers. The AP/RC focuses its attention on art and artists who have had a demonstrable impact on the artistic environment of arid and semi-arid regions west of the Mississippi River and east of the Pacific Coast.
